Functions at Villa Rex and Søjlesalen
The chefs at restaurant Frederik & Louise create the exciting menus for some of life’s peaks in Villa Rex, which is a part of Skodsborg Kurhotel & Spa.

Villa Rex was built by King Frederik VII in 1857 as a meeting place for Denmark’s Ministers of State and royal banquets. Villa Rex has been carefully and beautifully restored with the King’s Hall decorated in colours and interiors reflecting the original architectural blueprints from the King’s reign. The beautiful historical building exudes a romantic and very cosy atmosphere. You can feel the royal ambience and the respect for history.

The King’s Hall and Queen’s Hall form the perfect surroundings as function rooms for festive occasions. The royal setting and the wonderful food from Restaurant Frederik & Louise are used for many birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and company parties. Settings for up to 72 people can be provide for formal meals. There is furthermore space available for up to 100 non-seated guests at receptions.
